Why The Summer Chapter?
I don’t think choosing a slow summer means doing nothing. I think it means being intentional about what actually matters.
This season, I’ve realized how tired I am of constantly feeling behind. Behind on work, behind on creating, behind on life in general. And I don’t want to carry that feeling into another summer.
So instead of chasing more, I’m trying to choose presence.
I want to enjoy the season while I’m in it instead of documenting it faster than I can experience it. I want to create because I love it, not because I feel pressure to keep up. I want my days to feel full in a meaningful way, not just busy.
A slow summer won’t look perfect. There will still be work to do, long days, and things that don’t go as planned. But I think there’s beauty in learning how to move through life a little more gently.
That’s the kind of summer I want to remember. I hope you can create a slow, intentional summer for yourself.
