First Market of 2026
Hi friends!
I wanted to share some photos of my first market of 2026 at Bloom Coffee Co. in Maize, KS. I will also share the most popular items sold at the end, in case you don't follow me on social media.
A few things I did differently this time around was focus more on branding the business. So, I updated the tent banner, price signs, table cloths, and added our stitch fox, Luna to the market scene. I really enjoyed seeing the space come together as these small changes made the booth feel more on brand and me!

One thing that I did differently for the setup was hanging the tote bags from the tent. I really enjoyed this because I felt that you could see them better, rather than hanging them from the table. They tend to get hidden as shoppers are standing in the booth, but if they're hanging, it adds a sense of curiosity for shoppers across the way looking at the booth.

I brought a few of the redesigned quilted pouches as well. This was more of a trial run to see if this design got more attention than the large quilted pouches. I've decided to rebrand these as makeup bags because they have more structure than the large quilted pouches, a stronger zipper, and they're bigger (of course, to allow for more things!). There is also a small bow detail added to the zipper and they come with one or two pull tabs, making it easier to open/close the makeup bag. You of course don't have to add just makeup to these bags, you can also add your own spin to the bags.

I lightly introduced Luna, our stitch fox, to the market! I like having her because shoppers might start to recognize me more by the brand colors, design, and the whimsical fox on the banner and throughout the booth.

Some popular items sold were:
Be the Light embroidered crewneck
All for His Glory embroidered crewneck
Dog MAMA/Dog Mom embroidered crewneck
the Beverly wristlet
Strawberry Patch book/Kindle sleeve
Fabric Corner Bookmarks
Stars Hollow CT embroidered crewneck (all time favorite of the shoppers)

Thank you for following along my small business journey as I learn how to navigate working full time, living life, and running the business. Your support truly means the world to me and I really enjoyed meeting new people at markets who have similar interest in the items I make.
Until the next market.
With love,
Darby
